What makes me unique
I use a customer-centric writing approach. My extensive background in marketing allows me to craft stories that strengthen connections, build trust with end-users, and increase sales.

How and why I became a writer
I have been a paid non-fiction writer for over 25 years. The earliest things I wrote were executive speeches because it was fun! In every job I have ever had, there has been a need for a strong writer/editor to create content, and I always stepped up to take that role.

Past work experience and what I’m working on now
I have written and edited all types of marketing collateral including speeches, event materials, sales collateral, and websites. I also have extensive experience editing memoirs (have you written yours yet?)

Writing advice for those reading
I teach writing workshops, and something I always tell my students is that if you wish to improve your WRITING, you must improve your READING. Read more, and read content that is of a higher quality. Read literature so you can expand your vocabulary quickly and hone your storytelling skills. Finally, volunteer to write for a charity that you want to support. They may need website content, articles, flyers, and other support - and that will give you more experience!
