What is Artificial Intelligence?

Artificial Intelligence is the branch of science which seems to make machines perform as if they are thinking for themselves. It helps a machine to perform tasks now, which could be performed only by humans earlier, and which requires the ability to reason, learn, and solve. Driverless vehicle is an example.  Artificial Intelligence enables the vehicle to learn about its surroundings and to make appropriate decisions to reach the destination safely without any human intervention.

Converging technologies like the Internet of Things and Big Data are boosting the growth of Artificial Intelligence in a big way. Machines are able to communicate with each other and are capable of higher perception, able to capture millions of data in seconds, process information, make decisions – all within seconds. Evolution of Artificial Intelligence is also empowering machines to perform actions based on their intelligence which will eventually lead to machines that can make improved versions of themselves.

Brief History of Artificial Intelligence
Research in Artificial Intelligence was founded during a workshop event at Dartmouth College in 1956. Millions of dollars’ funding was made available immediately to achieve the exciting dream of making machines as intelligent and self-thinking as humans. But, the task remained complicated and complex through the early years.

‘AI winter’ set in during the year 1973, with the British and US Governments stopping all the funding for the research projects in data structuring, as well as learning algorithms. It was called winter as there was frustration throughout and very little progress. The development and studies in Artificial Intelligence picked up momentum again by the 21st century.

The first few years of the 21st century led to ‘AI summer’ in that investment, excitement, and interest in Artificial Intelligence development started booming. With the assistance of powerful computer hardware and newer technologies, successful Artificial Intelligence projects came up in academics as well as industry.

What is the current scope of Artificial Intelligence?
Currently, Artificial Intelligence has been integrated with personal assistance systems,  whether we realize it or not, in our daily lives. Most of the popular applications and intelligent machines we regularly use like Siri, Watson, Alexa, Cortana, and Google Assistant are all Artificial Intelligence applications. They can be used to turn home appliances on, to pull data from the web, to talk to each other, to set reminders, and even much more. These intelligent system assistants are ever evolving, and so the demand for computer scientists and engineers is keeping on increasing.

What is the future scope of Artificial Intelligence?
Becoming trained in Artificial Intelligence can put your career path into an evolving, and exciting level, and it is predicted to have a sharp growth through the coming years. Machine learning, as well as Artificial Intelligence, will be impacting all the segments of our daily life by the year 2025, with wide applications in diverse industries such as transportation, healthcare, insurance, logistics, and transport, and even in the area of customer service. Artificial Intelligence engineers will be needed in almost every field as companies would want to give computers the capability to learn, think, make decisions, and adapt. Hence, the demand for Artificial Intelligence courses is increasing very much.

The future, as well as current demand for Artificial Intelligence experts, is staggering. The New York Times has already reported a shortage in certified Artificial Intelligence Engineers with less than 10,000 qualified experts with the required skills, who earn an average salary of $172,000 per year in the US and up to Rs. 25 lakhs in India. Artificial Intelligence courses are available to help advance your career and to help you meet the demands of the future job market.

Jobs in Artificial Intelligence
More than 3,000 positions are currently listed on job portals with very high salary offerings. The basic requirements for a job in Artificial Intelligence is at least a bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or IT, with experience in multiple programming languages such as C, Java, R, Python, SQL, JavaScript, etc. along with experience in Data Science. Some of the top job positions are Artificial Intelligence Project Manager, Engineer, Researcher, and a Consultant with the hiring companies including Amazon, Apple, Google, and IBM.

Courses in Artificial Intelligence
The study of Artificial Intelligence courses comprises of mathematics, computer science, statistics, psychology, data science, neuroscience, natural language processing, machine learning, as well as many other disciplines. An introductory AI course will give you an overview of the components involved and brings you up to date on the research and developments so far. You can get hands-on experience with the programming of intelligent applications such as games, search algorithms, and logic problems. You can also learn about the applications of Artificial Intelligence such as facial recognition systems, self-driving cars, natural language processors, and military drones.

Further on, courses in Data Science, Machine Intelligence, and Robotics help you to learn the fundamentals of the operation of robots, the manipulation of robotic arms, representing spatial relationships in 2D and 3D, and planning of end to end robot systems. Machine learning courses help you to explore unsupervised learning strategies for data analysis and modeling, including computer vision, data clustering, reinforcement learning, algorithms in machine learning, problem-solving, image recognition, speech recognition, data mining, matrix factorization, and sequential models for data.

Once you get started with the Artificial Intelligence course, you get an overview of the exciting technologies used in the field. You need to be familiar with basic computer science as well as programming. If not, it is helpful to take introductory classes to learn any programming language used commonly in data analysis such as Python, R, etc.

Who needs to take the Artificial Intelligence Course?
Since the demand for Artificial Intelligence technologies is currently increasing in a wide range of industries, the course on Artificial Intelligence is needed for a wide range of disciplines and roles. They can be:
  • Developers who aspire to become an ‘Artificial Intelligence Engineer ‘also called Machine Learning Engineer.
  • Analytics Managers leading a body of Analysts
  • Information Architects interested in algorithms in Artificial Intelligence
  • Analytics professionals in artificial intelligence or machine learning
  • Graduates who are looking to start a new career in machine learning and Artificial Intelligence
  • People interested in applying Artificial Intelligence technology in their field of interest

Exploring a career in Artificial Intelligence
If you love mathematics, computer science, and data analysis, and are excited by deep learning, machine learning, neural networks, and virtual assistants, then you can enroll in the Artificial Intelligence Course training in Bangalore and start learning the applications of artificial intelligence technologies. This will help in building your career with an exciting future in the fast growing field of Artificial Intelligence.

The Artificial Intelligence course will help you to master the tools and skills used by the most innovative teams across the globe and to gain experience to solve real-world challenges. You can also learn about the major applications of AI across fields like financial services, customer service, healthcare, and so on. This course, which is the best in the market, can surely help in advancing your career by meeting with today’s demand as well as the need for experts in the field of Artificial Intelligence.
