Live video is a huge trend in social media and can be a powerful tool when it comes to digital marketing. Most of the time teens use live video to connect with friends and family on social media. Though it can be used for fun, live video is a huge resource for businesses. If you haven’t considered live video you might want to change your mind. In this post we’re going to talk about how live video and help your social media platforms thrive.







Connecting with viewers
One of the reasons live video is such a big trend is because of the benefits it offers. One of the main benefits it offers is the ability to be genuine. With live video you can create a personal connection with your viewers. It makes them feel as if they are there with you in person and nine out of ten times they are more likely to keep track of your videos because of that connection you make with them. 

Another benefit of live video is the fact that anything can happen. It creates another level of excitement that you don’t get from taped video. 

Going live
To make it work for you you have to find your personality. You have to find what attracts people to your website or to your YouTube and use that in all of your live videos. Find a phrase or something that you say before every live video. By doing this you create a brand for yourself. Stay away from “over rehearsing” before you go live. You want to have a few things in mind before you hit the record button but you don’t want it to be so rehearsed that it feels taped. 

Feel free to make a few mistakes, crack a few jokes it makes the live experience just that a live experience. Once you got that down you’re all set!!
