Whatever product or service a business provides; it will almost certainly need software developers for various purposes. As the founder and CEO of a new company, you'll face tough competition for the recruitment of developers that you'll need to take your company from startup to success.

Also, you probably originated the concept for your business as a founder but may lack the technological ability to make it a success. This is why you should choose to hire dedicated programmers.  However, as a startup, you can't afford to recruit a lot of people right now, so you'll need to hire dedicated programmers from a development company who are fully committed to your vision and goals.

You'll need someone with excellent problem-solving abilities, who can complete the tasks and build the projects you need. Someone who fits the ethos of your business trusts your thoughts and is willing to go above and beyond to make it a success. So where are you going to find the right person for the role... who is affordable as well?

1. Hire from freelance sites
Some of the prominent freelance platforms are having proficient programmers and software developers. If you aren't a developer or programmer, use a platform to veto its programmers. You'll need someone who has the experience, knows what they're doing, and can fulfill the requirements.

Starting with FreeUp and Toptal is a good idea. Both focus on tech applicants and have pre-empted freelancers to hire; FreeUp only hires the top 1% of applicants, so you have the best talent in your pool. Toptal is more in-depth about the type of talent and claims to recruit the top 3% of freelancers.

2. Hire remote programmers
Remote hires are a good choice as part-time or full-time workers for your business. You are saved by not having to purchase expensive office facilities or pay extended employees for additional office space. Remote full-time workers enjoy the same benefits as in-house staff, but it's also significantly less costly than having an individual in the workplace.

Remote workers have a higher retention rate, fewer ill days, and are more authentic in their work.

3.  Find a partner who can code
There are a lot of people who make a living out of starting startups and then moving on to the next one and the next... Many employees of the ex-Amazon, ex-Apple, and ex-Google forms are prepared to start on their own. Or, you might be able to find someone willing to sell their current start-up and start a new one.

There is a growing community of startup founders who network and know a lot of other people who are in the same boat as them. Many of them are also coding experts. You'll want to find someone who shares your vision and excitement for your company.

You'll need to get your business model written up to find a partner, from company strategy to prototype, so you have something concrete to prove. Your assets and limitations, as well as your financial status and timetable, must all be fully disclosed. Your proposed partner will share your passion with some luck, and the two of you (or more) will be able to develop your company together until you are ready to further expand your employee base.

4. Seek referrals
Referrals are one of the top three outlets for seeking new employees today. A reference is in fact a recommendation from an employee from someone you meet and it can come from someone on your network.

References also improve your chances of communication with prospects; it is much more likely that someone who knows you could contact them opens your emails or text messages.

Mention who referred them in your initial communication and briefly explain your company's vision, purpose, and goals. If your ideas strike a chord with them, you might have found the ideal first recruit!

Summing it up
The programmer you need is waiting for you to find them, whether you outsource, recruit remotely or hire dedicated programmers.
We look forward to at least some of these methods for finding a programmer for your company for your unique case and starting your search for the right programmer. Some tactics on your budget would be simpler than others, but each will eventually produce a skilled programmer who can meet your business needs. Don't forget to clarify these conditions in your description of your job, no matter what course you choose!
