Making a name on the Internet can seem very difficult. There are many pages competing for a place in the search engines, all in order to increase traffic and also for the fact that this is paid in conversions.

This is not done overnight but through a series of small and constant efforts. This post shall highlight some great content marketing tips that, when used together, will considerably increase your visibility in the network.

1. Create specific content
It is important that you are clear about who you are targeting with your content.

In this way, you will be able to create a strategy that adapts to this, looking for the focal points that could be of interest to your users. Do not try to cover a lot but instead, be as concise as possible.

This is reflected in the way you write the titles, subtitles, and content in general.

2. Do not be afraid of emotions
Try to capture the attention of your potential user by talking to them as a friend. Do not try to sell a product at the beginning as first, they must fall in love with your content and your site. Once they feel comfortable, they will want to explore more on what you have to offer.

Make them feel identified with what you write and as such, use the second person singular whenever you can.

3. Create catchy Headlines
The headline is everything for an indecisive user. It is the difference between opening your content or that of competition. Try to attract the curiosity of the reader with titles that include numbers or questions.

If there is a moment to be specific with what you offer, it is with the titles. Go straight to the subject. In addition, if you still do not feel confident, do not be afraid to use some tool to analyze headlines and ensure it has maximum attention-grabbing effects.

4. Learn what works
A good way to start is to investigate what words and content have worked on other pages. There are many sites that have already tried hundreds of combinations of titles and sentences, and there are statistics that indicate which are more attractive to the public.

In general and as we mentioned before, titles that attract the reader's curiosity are better than those that directly offer an idea.

5. Compose in a way that is easy to digest
Short paragraphs and sentences are always preferred to longer ones. When a user sees a site and finds a text column, they may feel intimidated to read it. Divide your content with subtitles to make clear what they are reading and do not do anything excessively extensive.

The average reading time of posts on the internet is 7 minutes or 1800 words. Organize your content and write it when you have enough data.

6. Do not keep important information
Many are often uneasy about revealing the most important thing they offer immediately for nothing in return.

However, this is the best way to keep the user stuck. The average internet user looks for quick answers. Start by giving them what they want, and out of curiosity, they will continue reading to expand their knowledge.

7. Words and signs are powerful
Just as in the movies that leave you wanting a continuation by showing you a fragment of the new tape, you must make your users want to continue reading what you offer.

In our case, it is best to create sentences with some element of continuity. That you can do by means of signs or questions, so that you can answer them in another line, and unconsciously the reader will look for the answer to what you have formulated.

8. Make accurate calls-to-action
Do not hesitate to indicate possible actions that your reader should do. Passivity makes it seem that even you are not sure of what you offer.

You must be direct, use strong calls to action, in conjunction with what they will achieve if they take the action.

9. Build your reputation with the help of others
Placing links within the article to reputable sources will help your site earn points with the search engines. Teaming with those pages will make yours grow in popularity.

Later, you will begin to realize that other pages are willing to do the same with yours, which will increase your domain over the content you write. This will prove you are indeed a reliable source.

10. Constantly review your web data
When you start and you do not have a defined structure, you can test virtually anything on your site. However, as you refine the content, the public begins to focus on a pattern of behaviors. From these, you can find out what things work and what does not.

An example is which of the purchase options that you give on your site is more attractive to most users. Analyze this behavior and act on it.

11. Create communication channels with your reader
It is important that you create multiple ways for the reader to be in contact with us. Social networks, emails, chats within the page, among other options.

The user must feel part of the community and must be sure that in case of doubts, someone will be able to answer it.

12. Beware of trending content
Trending content is an important resource because of its relevance to the public, but it is a double-edged knife for many content creators. There will be a lot of competition for those jostling to be the first in the search engine.

If there is something trending in your niche and you want to write about it, be sure to offer better information than the competition.

13. Do not work alone
As an editor, it is very difficult for you to judge your own work objectively. It is always advisable to have a second opinion that could possibly point out the possible flaws you would not be able to pick yourself.

14. SEO is your best friend
You must learn to optimize your content as much as possible through SEO. There are many articles that indicate how to complete each aspect of SEO in the best possible way.

However, you must bear in mind that, in the end, it is the users who will determine if your site is worthwhile.

15. Learn something new every day
The trends change daily. If you seek to compete for conversions on the network, you must work constantly. There is always someone willing to take your place if you leave it.

Update yourself with all the changes in search engines and how people move in relation to what you offer since this is a changing market.

These Are Not The Only Tools!

These content marketing tips can work today, but you must be willing to constantly learn new concepts, and renew yourself. Here’s a great resource to start learning more.  It is only in this way that you can guarantee your visibility, and once you are on the top, you can easily obtain the conversions you were looking for.
