Simple to use & runs automatically!
This beast of a backup generator is rock-solid, fully automatic, and offers whole‑house coverage. If you want peace of mind and can handle installation costs and occasional noise, it’s worth the investment.

🎥 Watch It in Action:
We bought t
he Generac Guardian 26 kW (ASIN B0BL6GL861) because losing power is no joke, and we were without it for nearly a month in 2022 with Hurricane Ida. So we wanted something that kept the lights on without hassle.

This generator promises a full-house solution with Wi‑Fi monitoring and a 200‑amp transfer switch.
This backs up everything: A/C, fridge, lighting, separate garage, even entertainment systems.

🔍 The Good Stuff
  • Whole‑house coverage: Delivers a clean 26 kW with <5% harmonic distortion—enough to power the entire house, gaming, and other unnecessary things we keep on, through outages.
  • Automatic & Wi‑Fi enabled: Kicks in ~10 seconds after outage and shuts itself off when power returns. You can monitor it remotely via Mobile Link.
  • Built tough: All‑aluminum enclosure, G‑Force engine, built in the USA, backed by a 5‑year warranty.
  • Value: It's comparably priced compared to other options.
🚩 The Letdowns
  • Not quiet: Some reviewers said it was louder than expected, but we have ours not too far from our bedroom window—and maybe I'm just grateful to not be in the dark, but it doesn't seem too loud to me! Generators are, by design, loud. I've heard my share of them, and this isn't anything different.
  • Installation: Needs a certified electrician and a gas line setup. This is just something to plan ahead, as getting on a local electrician's schedule during hurricane season may take many weeks! Doing this is also a substantial cost beyond the price of the generator. It can close just as much, in fact.
  • Extras not included: You’ll need to budget separately for a battery ($60) and cold-weather kit ($200), and you'll want to ensure your electrician sets you up with recurring service. The generator needs to run once each week for an hour to keep it in tip-top shape. Don't skip this part or you'll regret it, like our neighbors! They had a whole house generator that stopped working a week into our marathon power outage because they didn't keep up on servicing it.

♻️ Reuse or Repurpose Potential.
This obviously isn’t something you toss after a season. It’s built to stick around—fits right into your home’s infrastructure and tag-teams with propane/natural gas. No repurpose needed outside its intended use, but that reliability is its selling point. It also adds to the value of your home, pretty significantly. Check with realtors!

🧠 Final Thoughts: Worth the Time and Money?
If you live in a blackout-prone area or can’t afford downtime—remote work, medical equipment, etc.—this is a smart buy. It’s robust, automatic, and backed by a solid warranty.

Hi friends,

This is a page where I'll share reviews nobody asked for on various products, people, places and random things that I find worthy of review!

The products will range from ghostwriting must-haves (naturally) and custom-made dolls (iykyk) to items on Amazon and other affiliate links items. These will all have disclaimers, of course, telling you that if you purchase any of them, I will get a small commission for my effort. And guess what? I deserve it! Lol. I don't think any of you will begrudge me a few coins for the time I put into telling you about these amazing, engaging, and sometimes trailblazing items, right?

What better to kick of this page with the pending holiday season than a humongous, prelit Christmas tree?!

Be sure to click through to see and hear my review of this 14ft tree and how much we love it. It's currently on SALE for 52% OFF! And you have plenty of time to get one before December hits. You're welcome.

Also, can you guess what sort of things I'll be reviewing here that might be shocking? I'd love to read your thoughts—and maybe you'll inspire me!

More soon =)
