Too often, we wait for the “right time” to say what we want to say. But the reality is, your truth can’t wait.

​I'm Jae Nichelle, and I have a passion and skill for storytelling. I began ghostwriting after a spoken poem of mine went viral on Facebook in 2017. I realized how freeing it can be to tell your story and find your voice. Now, I want to help other people do the same.

How and why I became a writer
I started writing because my notebook was the only place I felt safe to express myself. I continue to write to help others who've felt the same way. We all have the power to write the stories we've always wanted to read.

Past work experience, and what I'm working on now
While I can edit any piece of writing, my ghostwriting specialty is non-fiction work. To date, I've written and edited memoirs, self-help books, textbooks, and blog posts. I'm also currently copywriting for several businesses. My personal work has been featured in literary magazines and online platforms such as Black Youth Project, Afropunk, The Washington Square Review, SquadSocial, and elsewhere.
