Blogging seems to be the name of the game when it comes to marketing these days, especially in this digital era where content consumption continues to be on the rise. In fact, one study shows that by 2020, customers will manage 85% of their relationships without even talking to a human, but will connect with companies through their blogs and other online research they find instead.

That’s why when done right, blogging can not only set your business up for long term success, but can open doors for new opportunities for increased revenue and brand exposure making it the marketing gift that keeps on giving. In fact, companies who blog receive 97% more links to their website (source) and 69% of businesses attribute their lead generation success to blogging (source).

  1. Write a Catcher Title: While 8 out of 10 people will read headline copy, only 2 out of 10 will read the actual content. The secret to high traffic lies in writing headlines that pull the audience in from the moment they read it. Doing this successfully requires equal parts of both art and science.
