​Sources of inspiration will naturally differ from writer to writer, depending on one’s own unique sensibilities.
 
As a movie buff and former film programmer, cinema is not only directly influential on much of my work, but several movies in particular boost my artistic spirits and provide relatable relief from reality.
 
Here are a few of my favorites, which other authors may also find useful in terms of both entertainment and edification.

Why? As Creative Guerrilla Marketing says, "In the end, the goal of experiential marketing is to form a memorable and emotional connection between the consumer and the brand so that it may generate customer loyalty and influence purchase decision."

​If you’re a writer, you’re probably broke. It’s part of the job description.
 
Of course, the big dream is to sell your manuscript to the highest bidder and never have to worry about money again.
 
Good luck with that.
 
Meantime, those of us who would rather produce good work on the marketplace without wasting out precious time waiting for a break that may never come are better served by a more realistic option: investing your own funds into your own career.

If you’re a writer, you should be keenly aware of your surroundings at all times. At least while you’re awake. (Dreams can be good source material too).
 
And always keep an open mind.
 
Why? Because you never know what bright idea might fly in from outside your normal scope of perception…
