​Summer starts today. For most people it’s a time to enjoy the great outdoors, via many forms of physical recreation, from hiking to swimming to picnics. For homebodies like me, it’s just a time to draw the blinds, turn on the air conditioning, and do what I normally do: block out the outside world, and write.
