The simplest way to gain your potential clients' trust is to make them feel like they know you. After you get them to know you, you have to get them to like you. The easy way to gain their approval is through the use of humor in many cases. If you're not a naturally humorous person, then you can give them something of value for no cost. Either of these will get a stranger to like you - quickly. Gaining the trust of your video viewer will happen by default if you can make them feel as if they know you and they like you. Below I'll share several methods of creating personalized videos that get results. Key #1 - Screenshare Videos Something I've always recommended to my clients is the use of screen share software. A major benefit of screen sharing is it engages your viewer - keeping their attention. The key to successful video marketing is keeping your viewers attention for as long as possible. This is why screen sharing software is a must have in your marketing arsenal. Here are several ways to maximize screen share video:
I have used screen share video for all of the above for many years now, and I can promise you that it will win your customers over and build trust in you and what you have to offer - if you implement these methods. If you're unsure of a good screen share software just run a search on Google for "screen sharing tools." Key #2 - Face to Face Video Nowadays the world we live in is literally laden with technology. So another way you can build trust is through face to face video. You could do this with a regular camcorder, your laptop cam, or even a cell phone.
A great way to engage your audience is through the use of Facebook Live. If you don't have a business page for your product or service you need to make one ASAP. Then you can do Facebook Lives to communicate the features and benefits of your product/service in real time. This also gives you the ability to do live Q&A sessions. Key #3 - Proof Video The granddaddy of all marketing methods when it comes to building trust is the proof video. If you have undeniable proof that your product/service can solve a particular problem for your prospects then share it! As they say, "documentation beats conversation." This is a surefire method to gain your viewers trust. Key #4 - Eye Contact & Smiling This tip is piggybacking off of Key #2 - Face to Face video. Many people underestimate the importance of eye contact in rapport building, especially in video. You'll find it hard to gain the trust of your viewers if you're constantly looking away from the camera like, "oh hey, a squirrel!" Making and maintaining strong eye contact on video is critical. Dropping a warm smile every so often will also work wonders in your videos. Your voice inflection as well as your intonation, as subtle as they may seem, also make a big difference in whether your viewers will feel they can trust you. Key #5 - Build Your Audience In your videos you should also encourage people to join your tribe. By this I mean give them somewhere they can come and hangout with you. It could be a membership site of some sort, or perhaps even have them add themselves to your email list or text marketing list. Although the simplest way to build your audience up where you can stay in constant contact is through the use of Facebook Groups. First, you'll create a new group on Facebook that's catered to your target audience. Now that you've got them in your group, it's time to start sharing value - consistently. I can think of no better way to gain the trust of your tribe than by sharing valuable content with them (relative to your product/service) without expecting anything in return. Some people call this reciprocal marketing. Getting The Most Out of Personalized Video By now you should have a better understanding of how to put video to use in your marketing, in a way that will develop long lasting business relationships. The tips given to you today will absolutely work for you, if you implement them. Another trick that I failed to mention is video email. I'm actually a little surprised at how few people are actually taking advantage of this amazing little tool. Think for a second... which would you rather do? Would you rather read a long drawn out email, or watch a video email where you get to look the sender in the eyes, hear their voice, and connect with them on a more personal level? The bottom line is that video works, no matter the method. If you want to gain the trust of your viewers it's non-negotiable that you add video marketing into your overall marketing strategy. Hopefully by now you have a much better understanding as to the importance and benefit of using personalized video to gain the trust of your customers.
