At Digital Media Ghost, we like to stay ahead of the curve, as you likely know by now. Well, we noticed that "curve" spiking sharply of late, with new apps and trends popping up faster than you can say meme, thanks to the Gen Z kids.
Who are Gen Z kids? They're that witty, online-anonymous crew following closely behind - and soon overtaking - Gen Y (aka Millennials). Gen Z kids have money to spend and they move fast.
And we've wrangled one.
Meet Olivia - our new 'Teen Tech' writer. She's a teen, she uses tech and she's going to TRY to keep the olds (that's us) on top of the new (and yes, Millennials - you are olds now too. Haha).
Here's a little bit about her, in her own words:
Hi! My name is Olivia Collins, and I’m thrilled to be writing for digital media ghost! I’m seventeen years old and originally from Boston, but made the move to my small New Hampshire town when I was around twelve. Being a suburban teenage girl, I’m always up to date on the newest apps and trends swirling around my age group. I spend most days juggling school, homework, and my job as a nanny. I always make it a point to carve out time for friends as well.
If you're an app developer, you'll want to watch this space. If you're a parent, you'll want to watch this space. And if you're a teen wanting to be a tech writer some day, you'll want to watch this space (and maybe start an Olivia fan club.)
