Helping you grow an engaged, targeted audience (Just as we've done ourselves!)
There are two ways to grow online: using paid or organic methods. We like both.
Buyer beware: If you want to develop a robust presence online, be SURE to explore the digital footprint of the businesses you're hiring to help you. If they haven't been able to grow their own presence online, they won't be able to help you grow yours either. Likewise, if they aren't familiar with advertising options for their OWN business, you don't want them learning about it on your dime.
Paid advertising is a dirty word to many, but it really shouldn't be. Paying to advertise your exceptional content (which we would happily create for you) is well worth it, especially when you're starting from scratch online. The vicious cycle new businesses get stuck in is this: No one likes them yet, so no one sees their stuff; but how can they get people to like them when no one sees their stuff? "Likes," comments, shares, retweets or what have you (depending on the platform) are what make the social universe go round - and you definitely need to get in on that action ASAP.
If you look at some business pages on Facebook, for example, you'll note they have posts that are almost entirely ignored (except for the occasional like from an employee) and you'll see that their "talking about" stat is consistently super low or nonexistent. That's not good. It means no one is seeing their content and they're (in effect) posting for no reason.
But paid advertising isn't limited to Facebook. Twitter offers fantastic paid advertising options and so does LinkedIn, with more sites jumping on and adding an advertising every day - like Instagram! We know how paid advertising works on each platform (and if we don't, we need very little ramp up time to learn as we do this ALL the time) and we know where your money is best spent, depending on your target audience.
Organic (free) methods are many and, particularly when starting from scratch, foolhardy. Why? They waste your hard work, squandering the thought capital you so carefully worked to create - because no one is seeing it. That's a shame, really. We're happy to promote clients via our own social channels to give your efforts a kickstart, but OUR target audience isn't necessarily YOUR target audience, so that only goes so far.
Also, folks have this nasty habit online of equating authority with traffic quantity - and for good reason. Highly trafficked sites offer social proof. They're a safe bet to follow - and to trust. Unproven options? Not so much.
We're happy to speak to this concept further during our free consultation. Reach out and have your questions ready!
