what does CBD have to do with ghostwriting?!
It was something I should have expected, really.
Once a writer becomes too busy, s/he inevitably gets burnt out. There's no way around it, unless you have scheduled breaks - and most of us do not. Because our clients do not.
So, it's all brain work, all the time.
There's no half-assing it when you're a ghostwriter either. You have to live up to client standards on each and every piece, creating content that sings, or you'll be looking for new clients. And I prefer to keep the clients I have, thank you very much!
I also didn't want to scale back on my client base, because that super sucks to do too! When you work so hard to create client relationships, don't be quick to let them go. Actually, don't let them go at all, if you can manage it! - Free tip there for my "How to Become a Ghostwriter" crew!
Anyway - I was at the point where something needed to give.
Results depend on the individual and medical studies need to happen to bear it all out, but I'm no longer feeling burnt out. My focus has improved - incredibly, and I'm able to accomplish lots more in less time.
My priorities are getting the attention they deserve and items of little consequence capture appropriate (almost zero) headspace now.
I love my CBD so much, I want to marry it. But seeing as that's impossible, I settled for becoming a reseller! =)
So THAT is what it has to do with writing - it has become my worst kept secret (as I tell everyone about it)!
